Mission
and Values
Our family is at the center of our personal universe. Most
people would do almost anything for the sake of their family.
That includes protecting them from known and unknown danger
and harm. This becomes increasing difficult, in these times,
because we live in an open society where we share public
places with the predators and violent criminals. The only
place where we have some control over our environment is in
our homes. We can make our home reasonably safe by fortifying
it, as necessary, to protect our families once inside. We can
also protect our family by developing life saving
mindsets and attitudes.
We empower people with practical skills sets that enable
then not to become a crime statistic. Only you the individual
are responsible for your personal and family safety.
Police and military personal are trained to seek out danger
and stop it. By utilizing this experience Personal Home
Defense will teach the average person ways to avoid
confrontation by being able to recognize, avoid and gain a
tactical advantage by "disengaging" the situation.
The mission of Personal Home Defense Inc, is to educate and
empower our clients and their family in personal safety,
arming them with tools of knowledge and skill.
Sincerely,
Chad D. Killian

In Memory

Randall Lawrence Schawang
1966 ~ 2009
Randall Lawrence Schawang passed away on July 12, 2009 at his
home from heart complications. He was 42. Randy was born on
December 15, 1966 in Richardson, Nebraska to Robert Lawrence
and Donna Marie Lee Schawang. He married Stephanie C. Giles on
March 18th 1989 in Las Vegas, NV. Together they had 4
wonderful children. They were later divorced, but always
remained close friends.
Randy was raised and attended schools in Fall City, Nebraska,
where he graduated high school. After graduation Randy
enlisted in the navy and was stationed in San Diego,
California. He fought in the Persian Gulf War.
Randy and Stephanie later moved to Utah where they made their
home. Randy had a heart of gold and had a great love for all
mankind. His laugh was beautiful music and his smile twinkled
in his eyes. His greatest accomplishment and his elated joy
was his children, to them he devoted his life. Randy had many
hobbies, at the top of that was his love for guns, hunting and
teaching his children how to shoot. In his younger years Randy
enjoyed professional body building as well as desert racing.
He was a great salesman and always a gentleman. Randy was a
great part of our team, and an excellent instructor. He will
be sorely missed.
Randy touched the lives of many people, we would like to thank
all of his friends who shared in his life and loved him, there
are too many to name!
